Live and Archived Data

Live data is available 24/7 from our SWIRLL Berm site and posted to our live data website. At the berm, there is an array of surface instruments measuring temperature, wind, precipitation, and solar radiation. Our MIPS platform usually retrieves atmospheric measurements 24/7 from the berm site. However, we do not guarantee accuracy of data.

During active deployments, live data will be published to our website for real-time public viewing and nowcasting. We are currently developing webpages for all of our platforms. Once these pages are completed, they will be posted.

When platforms are deployed or in the berm, data is stored on local servers. Several datasets can be accessed via weblink here. However, Most datasets are stored locally for internal use, but can generally be provided upon request.

All data that we provide are considered raw and unedited. We do not guarantee accuracy of data. To request data or submit questions, please email preston.pangle@uah.edu or kevin.knupp@nsstc.uah.edu (PI).
