pmb_export_array_mathematica.pro

Mathematica

Often, I will work in IDL and Mathematica simultaneously. This function will take an array of numeric values and return a string of those values. This can then be printed to the console for copy/paste into Mathematica (or anywhere else!) On error, a null string is returned.

Examples

To use this routine:

x = INDGEN(10) output = pmb_export_array_mathematica(x, FORMAT='(I2)') print, output The resulting output in the console can then be copied/pasted into Mathematica
