pmb_import_wwlln.pro

Lightning, WWLLN

includes main-level program

The function will read in WWLLN stroke data. It returns a structure with fields define in wwlln_stroke__define.

There are (at least) two flavors of WWLLN data - real time and reprocessed. This has been tested on each.

One of the big differences is the WWLLN real time data only has time to the second.

Examples

See the main level program.

result = pmb_import_wwlln_parse_param(row)

Define the attributes need to parse the actual data file.

result = pmb_import_wwlln(file)

This routine will read in a WWLLN file and output an array of structures.

Routine details

top pmb_import_wwlln_parse_param

result = pmb_import_wwlln_parse_param(row)

Define the attributes need to parse the actual data file. This is done by looking at a data row and deciding what type of file it is.

Return value

A structure with fields needed to parse the data file.

Parameters

row in required type=string

A row to be used to figure out what type of WWLLN file this is.

top pmb_import_wwlln

result = pmb_import_wwlln(file)

This routine will read in a WWLLN file and output an array of structures.

Return value

An array of structures of type wwlln_stroke__define. On error, -1 is returned.

Parameters

file in required type=string

The file you wish to read in.
